Ha it seems like you've hit the end of the content for this update, the fucking option is the last thing you unlock. I should've made it more obvious in the quest screen.
Yeah I see what you mean. But then it would be more like you try to one-shot the animal or it would flee kind of battle, which would not be that enjoyable for gameplay I think. I chose at the beginning to make the fleeing mechanic rely on the player, you can choose to flee and avoid battle with them (rabbits, faws and deers) as they are "non-agressive" and won't chase you, the wolf for example is one of the enemies that will not let you leave easily. At least not without a check with your speed and his own, and when you're too low in speed you cannot win. The rabbit deals 1 damage when you are low level, and as you gain level and the damage it inflicts is 0 you'll get this message instead "tries to hurt you but cannot".
I also implemented basic RPG mechanics like the animals in the second area are a little stronger than the ones in the first. The wolf in the first area that you encounter in the night is weaker than the buck from the second because of RPG logic, which is not really realistic yea :')
But if you compare its stats with stats from the wolf of the same area, the wolf still has higher stats! I try to find the right amount of gameplay and a semblance of reality if it makes sense. I hope you still have fun with the battle system aside from that!
If i didn't like the game i'd simply have quited it uninstalled it and be done with it. Nah, your game is cool and i though i'd give my opinion.
I guess trying to kill fleeing ennemies before they do could be a pain.
Btw, the owl didn't appear in the list of possible encounters even after i killed one.
I hope you plan to add more content in the love route with the redhead in later version, because it feels really unbalanced as things are. The "corruption route" gives you two woman to do with as you wish while the "love route" gives you access to a one time strip tease and a handjob from a different woman. Even in terms of morality/casualties the love path doesn't feel more human than the corruption path.
It's nice to have the choice between different approaches though. But as things are i don't see any reason not to go down the corruption path, unless bestiality is a taboo for some, but then again i don't think it would be the case for a shapeshifter.
In any case, cool game, waiting to see where it leads
Thanks a lot! I have to revamp the love route to be honest, and add quite a lot more for it to be on par with the other path. But people overall tend to be wayyyy more interested towards the corruption route so the other one has been left with its cobwebs for a while. I see your point about morality in the "love route", and I think it would be a good idea to at least give more choice in what you want to see and how you want to act. It's noted for a future modification.
Heya, new bug when trying to click on Maria's house after reaching corruption lvl 55, it shows a text box, "I have no idea how this happened, can you send a message to the dev?" then shows an error, "twelvemenushown" is not defined or just brings you back to the main menu like it used to, also when clicking on George's house, it brings you back to the main menu.
Ha maybe you used an old save ? You have to use a new save for this update, and probably every coming update as I modify many things in the script with each new additions. If not, well, seems like I missed something major in the script!
it was a new save, i grinded for a while just to get a major error again, seems like this specific scene has some major issues. Oh also, when at corruption lvl 27 when I click on Maria's house it just says, come back in the afternoon, i can't continue.
It's so weird, I don't understand why this happens. The specific variable, as I wrote for this update shouldn't even increment, so it technically shouldn't be even possible to get the message "I have no idea...." unless something gives let's say a +1 to my variable. And the "twelvemenushown" variable is supposed to be set at the beggining of the game, like every other. So hey I'll add it to the list of things to investigate. Try a new game maybe to see if it persists but as for now I don't see why the game is acting the way it goes. I'd be curious to see if the problem happened to other players.
Hey! That's very nice of you to ask! I'm doing fine, it's just hard to keep up with updates, as I'm really busy with life. However the next one will come either tomorrow or monday (I'll need to be sure that no bugs will be in the update sooo I'll test everything.). The game is still going great! I'm just taking time to make it as good as possible, I feel like I rushed some things before that could have been even better. Like the next animations are probably the best I've done so far. And you, are you doing good as well?
Thanks, If it makes you better in your craft then take the time necessary with your projects, life comes first. Don't stress over it. I'm doing fine right now.
Idk if this a bug? But during the game, When raising the cop's Corruption quest to 55. When I was visiting her everynight, one night the game just suddenly went to the main menu? Sadly I lost that progress because I never saved. However it is a great game so far and I'm enjoying the combat alot
Well this is definitely a bug, usually this happens when the label is empty or there is a "return" in the code. But it shouldn't happen, the only possibilites should be she awakens or you finish the number of action for the night. I think I found where the mistake was, but it's odd that it did that, thanks for telling me, and thank you for enjoying it, I want to bring waaay more for the battles!
Oh and also in the Loading menu check the "A" next to the Q and the numbers, it's the Automatic Save system, maybe you got lucky with it and have something to work with for that save! (If the bug does not persist that is.)
I do look forward to what you plan on bringing in for the battles. Also thanks for letting me know that there is an auto save feature, didn't even notice there was one. No problem! The Auto Save is quite useful in Renpy games! Now I see where this comes from, one of my variables did something in some rare instances that it shouldn't have done. I'll have to rewrite some parts to make sure it doesn't happen again but it would be safer this way.

Wouldn't it make more sense for rabbits, fawns and deers to try to flee instead of fighting back?
If they'd flee you wouldn't get furs, nor meat, nor exp.
I'm saying that cause seeing bunnies attacking and dealing 1 damage is kind of painfull, and deers seem more powerfull than wolves wich is odd...

nothing fixes it, i tried sleeping and combat, nothing worked.

i found a bug that when i talk to carmen about the gloryhole it gives me this: ScriptError: could not find label 'carmen_talk_gloryhole'.
